Below I share some images I took of one of my favorite fountain pens, the venerable Pelikan M800. I received this pen as a graduation gift from my grandparents and it has served me wonderfully as a writing instrument during my studies at college.

Hi Philip,
Nice pen and great macro photography. I have two M800s, the first one I picked up ten years ago the pen gets better with age.
Cheers
Bill
Thank you. I do think that fountain pens get better with age because the nib conforms to your writing style with time, and an 18k gold nib like that of the M800 will be more malleable.
Hello Philip,
These are the most epic photos off a fountain pen I have ever seen. But then again, these might be the only photos of a fountain pen I have ever seen, excepting the pictures on the side of the boxes they come in. When I was penning my memoirs (the New Testament), I just went with the 400 pack of Bic pens. You can buy them at Office Max for about 5 bucks. They’re not too dependable, but they get the job done. They also write on skin very well. No one thinks I got my revenge on Judas betraying me,but i did. When he woke up the next morning, he discovered some rather obscene (but divine) images drawn on his face. But you should be fine if you just remember the last three beatitudes:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are they who buy cheap Bic pens, for they shall write with Pelikan M800’s in the kingdom of heaven.”
Amen.
Jesus C.
Thanks, Byron.
