Photo: Siegle Hall at Night

I took this picture while walking back to my dorm from The Loop. I particularly like the mist above the building, ostensibly caused by the heating system. The eerie feeling of the photo reminds me of the works of Edgar Allan Poe.

Siegle Hall, a building at Washington University in St. Louis, shown at night.

The light is a floodlight from Francis Field. The 1904 Olympics were held on the field, and today WashU’s football and soccer games compete there.
