Citizens advocating healthcare reform near WashU's campus
Today marked the organization Organizing for America’s national “Time to Deliver on Health Reform” event. At the northeast corner of Washington University in St. Louis I witnessed a rally advocating the cause. On all four corners of the Skinker Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway stood people waving signs and handing out fliers promoting action to create a public health care option. The intersection was noisy with the trumpets of car horns in support of the cause. Regardless of my views on the issue, it was enthralling to see this national event taking root in the local community.
