Blog Action Day

Today is Blog Action Day: a grass roots campaign to encourage addressing climate change. It is important on a local scale for citizens to recognize that they can modify their daily lives to decrease unnecessary damage to the environment. On a national scale, it is essential for lawmakers to recognize that technology exists today to cleanly produce energy, such as energy from nuclear power, and that, while investing in research for future power sources is important, action can be taken today decrease the release of carbon dioxide.
