Last week, some of the girls on our dorm’s floor made a tasty dinner of pasta and garlic bread for everybody. It was an enjoyable break from the routine of food in the dining halls on campus. To reciprocate, three of us “guys” decided to make breakfast today. One had a very handy electric omelette maker that we used to make eggs with fresh basil and sauteed mushrooms, onions, peppers and jalapeƱo. My personal project for the meal was made-from-scratch pancakes. I used this simple recipe and the pancakes turned out being fluffy and tasty. We cooked in one of the kitchens in our dorm and had to do some improvising to get the meal to work (like cooking pancakes in a sauce pan), but the meal turned out well and the floor enjoyed it!
