My Delivery from the Pear Tree Pen Co.
Today I had my first ever Clairefontaine product arrive. It is a small notebook- much smaller than I expected, but it will still go to good use.
Spanglish Advertising
I saw this advertisement in a local Spanish newspaper and was amused by the Spanglish spoken by the little boy. The latter part of the sentence is pretty standard, but the former is a bit out-of-place. ‘Popa’ translates to ‘poop’ or ’stern.’
Laptop Stickers
Today I added a couple stickers to my Speck Seethru. Two are from GMail, one is from my favorite local coffee house, and the final one I got last night at the Dave Matthews Band concert. The DMB stickers were sold as a part of a carbon offset program called the Bama Green Project.
Dave Matthews Band Concert
The Dave Matthews Band concert last night, opening with Old Crow Medicine and featuring Tim Reynolds performing with DMB, was outstanding. The music was phenomenal, and the lighting was great.
